Systemic Autoimmune-associated Antigen Array

Product Information

Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system, which normally does not attack a person’s own components, produces self-reacting T-cells or autoantibodies that recognize host self-components (proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, etc.), also known as autoantigens. Over 100 autoimmune diseases have been described, creating a critical need for tools that can detect large numbers of autoantibodies with high sensitivity.

GeneCopoeia’s OmicsArray™ Systemic Autoimmune-associated Antigen Array (Cat#: PA001) is a protein microarray enabling powerful detection of autoantibodies associated with many autoimmune diseases. The array carries 128 superior-quality purified antigens and internal controls spotted in duplicates onto nitrocellulose filters, which are adhered to glass slides. Antigens known to be associated with specific autoimmune diseases are chosen based on a thorough review of peer-reviewed publications. We have two versions of PA001 for customer to choose. PA001-V3 is a modified version based on PA001-V2 with 19 different antigens which are mostly associated with inflammatory myositis. Click here to download the antigen comparison of PA001-V2 and PA001-V3.

In addition to premade arrays, arrays containing customized sets of antigens are available, as well as array processing kits, array profiling services and data analysis. To order premade or custom arrays, please contact us.

GeneCopoeia’s OmicsArray™ Systemic Autoimmune-associated Antigen Array is part of the GeneCopoeia OmicsArray™ Antigen Microarray family.

Custom services

GeneCopoeia offers custom antigen microarray services in the following areas:
  • Custom array printing. GeneCopoeia will create custom antigen microarrays built to your specifications.
  • Sample processing. Send us your blood, plasma, tissue, or other biological sample and we will prepare it for processing and incubation with any of our premade antigen microarrays or custom-built antigen microarrays for autoantibody profiling and other applications. For information on sample types to submit, consult the FAQ
  • Data analysis. Once samples are processed and incubated with an antigen microarray, we will analyze the raw data. The standard analysis service includes: 1) An Excel file of the Net Signal Intensity (NSI) for each antigen on the array, normalized to internal controls; and 2) a heat map
Additional analysis services, including proteomic analysis, pathway analysis, and more, are also available.

One-step RT-qPCR Kits

A one-step RT-qPCR kit uses RNA as the starting material. It provides a convenient master mix to convert mRNA to cDNA and then quantify the cDNA in a one-step reaction. GeneCopoeia offers SYBR green- and probe-based one-step RT-qPCR kits that enable accurate analysis of gene expression in a convenient and high-throughput one-step format.

BlazeTaq™ SYBR Green One-Step RT-qPCR Kit

BlazeTaq™ One-Step SYBR Green RT-qPCR kit uses a reverse transcriptase to convert RNA to cDNA, and an antibody-modified Taq DNA polymerase to avoid polymerase activity prior to thermal cycling. The kit is supplied with reverse transcriptase and a 5X master mix with a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTP and all required buffer components.

BlazeTaq™ Probe One-Step RT-qPCR Kit

BlazeTaq™ Probe One-Step RT-qPCR kit allows potent target RNA detection and quantification using hydrolysis probes in a single tube. The kit is supplied with reverse transcriptase and a 5X master mix with a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTP and all required buffer components.

qPCR Mix & Primers

Quantitative PCR (qPCR) is one of the most widely-used methods for gene expression profiling, due to its sensitivity, speed, and relatively low cost.  For the two-step real-time RT-qPCR system, GeneCopoeia provides three kinds of qPCR mix, experimentally-validated primers, and a first-strand cDNA synthesis kit for you to detect and quantitate your gene expression.

BlazeTaq™ SYBR Green qPCR Mix 2.0

It contains a hot-start antibody-modified Taq DNA polymerase and an optimized buffer system that avoids non-specific amplification of target DNA at lower temperatures and enhances reaction mix performance.

BlazeTaq™ Probe qPCR Mix

It uses hydrolysis probes and DNA as starting material. The kit is supplied with a ready-to-use 5X master mix with a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTP and all optimized buffer components.

All-in-One™ qPCR Mix and Validated Primers

It uses high-fidelity hot-start polymerase, an optimized reaction buffer and high-quality dNTPs to enable specific and sensitive amplification from even low-copy RNA (cDNA) or DNA species.

SureScript™ First-Strand cDNA Synthesis Kits

The SureScript™ First-Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit includes a reverse transcriptase and a specialized set of reagents designed to yield cDNA that is optimal for gene cloning, cDNA library creation and quantitative PCR amplification.
