- TFEB protein is a highly sensitive and specific diagnostic marker for these renal neoplasms
- TFEB in the neoplastic tissue compared to the normal sample, supports that the fusion gene does not encode for a chimeric protein but causes an upregulation of the wild-type TFEB.
