Validated All-in-One™ qPCR Primer for CTNND2(NM_001332.3) Search again
By default, qPCR primer pairs are designed to measure the expression level of the splice variant (accession number) you selected for this gene WITHOUT consideration of other possible variants of this gene. If this gene has multiple variants, and you would like to measure the expression levels of one particular variant, multiple variants, or all variants, please contact us for a custom service project at inquiry@genecopoeia.com.

Summary
Armadillo-like proteins are characterized by a series of armadillo repeats, first defined in the Drosophila 'armadillo' gene product, that are typically 42 to 45 amino acids long. These proteins can be divided into subfamilies based on the number of repeats, their overall sequence similarity, and the dispersion of the repeats throughout their sequences. Members of the p120(ctn)/plakophilin subfamily of Armadillo-like proteins, including CTNND1 (MIM 601045), CTNND2, PKP1 (MIM 601975), PKP2 (MIM 602861), PKP4 (MIM 604276), and ARVCF (MIM 602269), have 10 armadillo repeats each (Bonne et al., 1998 [PubMed 9721216]).[supplied by OMIM].
