2023 IMMUNOLOGY2023™ Annual Meeting Travel Award Application

Through the development, production, and marketing of the OmicsArray™ line of antigen protein microarrays, GeneCopoeia is an industry leader in providing tools for autoimmune disease research. The progenitors of these arrays have been used for research by clinical and basic research laboratories that has led to dozens of high-impact, peer-reviewed publications.

GeneCopoeia is pleased to announce the opening of a competition for an award for travel to and from the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) IMMUNOLOGY2023™ annual meeting, which will take place May 11-15, 2023 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. GeneCopoeia will provide the winner of the competition up to $1,000.00 toward the travel expenses to and from the meeting.

Applicants must submit a description of their research, and how attending IMMUNOLOGY2023™ will benefit their research and contribute significantly to a field of immunology. Applications will be judged by a panel of GeneCopoeia scientists. The winning entry will be announced in early 2023.

Eligibility requirements

To apply for the GeneCopoeia IMMUNOLOGY2023™ annual meeting travel award, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • At the time of the meeting (May 11-15, 2023), applicants must be either a) graduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university, or b) employed as postdoctoral fellows.
  • Applicants must be in an academic, government, or non-profit institution at the time of the meeting.
  • Applicant’s institution at the time of the meeting must be located within either the United States of America or Canada.

 

Application period

  • Application submissions begin Monday, August 1, 2022
  • The competition will close at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Friday, October 28, 2022 or until 50 applications have been received, whichever comes first.

  • Proof of enrollment as a Master’s or Doctoral student at an accredited college or University within the United States of America or Canada between May 11-15 2023, OR employment as a postdoctoral fellow at an academic, government, or non-profit institution between May 11-15, 2023.

 

Award delivery

The winning applicant will be reimbursed up to $1,000.00 for expenses used for travel to and from the IMMUNOLOGY2023™ annual meeting May 11-15, 2023 in Washington, D.C. Submission of travel receipts to GeneCopoeia will be required.
