Common Pathogen Antigen Array, 64-plex

Product Information

Virus and bacterial invasion of the human body can cause serious infectious disease, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Influenza (flu), and severe diarrhea, etc. Antibodies against pathogenic antigens can be produced by our body’s immune system (B cells) and play a protective role against the infection. There are 4 different kinds of antibodies that can be induced by pathogenic antigens, IgM, IgG, IgA and IgE, and each of the antibodies plays a different role in the course of infection. Detection of the antibody specificities is critical for early diagnosis of pathogenic infections and also provides valuable information for epidemiology analysis and evaluation of effect of vaccination.

GeneCopoeia’s OmicsArray™ Common Pathogen Antigen Array contains 64 antigens from a large collection of common pathogenic organisms such as virus, bacteria and parasites, and is a highly sensitive protein microarray that offers powerful antibody profiling capabilities for quantitative detection of over hundreds of antibodies from small amounts of various biological specimens.

The 64 antigens included in the General Autoimmune 64-plex Common Pathogen Antigen array panel were chosen based on published studies. The superior-quality purified antigens were coated onto the 3D surface of microchips to ensure that antigens retain their natural conformations. Internal Ig and anti-Ig controls are included in each array for normalization and quantification purposes. Additionally, the utilization of fluorescent 2nd antibodies in our microarrays allows for the detection of two types (IgG, IgM, IgA or IgE) of antibodies on the same array, minimizing the requirement of sample needed.

In addition to premade arrays, arrays containing customized sets of antigens are available, as well as array processing kits, array profiling services and data analysis. To order premade or custom arrays, please contact us.

GeneCopoeia’s OmicsArray™ Common Pathogen Antigen Array, 64-plex is part of the GeneCopoeia OmicsArray™ Antigen Microarray family.

Custom services

GeneCopoeia offers custom antigen microarray services in the following areas:
  • Custom array printing. GeneCopoeia will create custom antigen microarrays built to your specifications.
  • Sample processing. Send us your blood, plasma, tissue, or other biological sample and we will prepare it for processing and incubation with any of our premade antigen microarrays or custom-built antigen microarrays for autoantibody profiling and other applications. For information on sample types to submit, consult the FAQ
  • Data analysis. Once samples are processed and incubated with an antigen microarray, we will analyze the raw data. The standard analysis service includes: 1) An Excel file of the Net Signal Intensity (NSI) for each antigen on the array, normalized to internal controls; and 2) a heat map
Additional analysis services, including proteomic analysis, pathway analysis, and more, are also available.

Enzymes

Molecular Cloning Systems

Molecular cloning systems based on Gateway® DNA recombination, restriction enzymes or blunt-end ligation.

AccelerRT® 5G Template Switching RT Enzyme Mix

AccelerRT® 5G Template Switching RT Enzyme Mix (RNase H-) is a novel RT enzyme that was evolved in vitro from MMLV RT. The enzyme possesses RNA- and DNA-dependent polymerase activities but lacks RNase H activity.

RNA Synthesis In vitro Transcription (IVT)

In vitro RNA synthesis refers to the synthesis of RNA from a DNA template using a phage DNA-dependent RNA polymerase (e.g. T7, T3 or SP6 RNA polymerase). IVT products include RNA synthesis systems, nuclear extracts, ribonucleotides, cloning vectors and supporting products for transcription, primer extension and gene expression studies.

AccelerRT® 5G Full Length cDNA Synthesis & Amplification Kit

The AccelerRT® 5G Full Length cDNA Synthesis & Amplification Kit can synthesize cDNA ranging from 1-1000 cells or 10 pg – 100 ng of total RNA and an Oligo(dT)VN Primer as a reverse primer. The full-length cDNA amplification products can be used to analyze gene expression differences, variable splicing, fusion genes and other genetic regulatory information.

SuperCut™ Nuclease

GeneCopoeia SuperCut™ Nuclease is a genetically engineered endonuclease derived from Serratia marcescens. The enzyme degrades all forms of DNA and RNA (single-stranded, double-stranded, linear or circular) and is effective over a wide range of conditions.

GeneCopoeia SuperCut™ Nuclease is a genetically engineered endonuclease derived from Serratia marcescens. Structurally, the protein is a dimer containing 245 amino acids carrying 2 key disulfide bonds and 30 kD subunits. The enzyme degrades all forms of DNA and RNA (single-stranded, double-stranded, linear or circular) and is effective over a wide range of conditions. The enzyme completely digests 2 to 5 bases in oligonucleotides from the nucleic acid to the 5′-phosphate terminus. Although the nuclease can digest almost all positions of the nucleotide chain, it is still somewhat sequence specific, preferring the GC-rich regions of double-stranded DNA and avoiding AT-rich regions. With its highly specific activity and absence of protease activity and viral contaminants, this product is an ideal and widely used nuclease for the complete digestion of nucleic acids.
Enzyme activity: 250 U/μL
Source: Serratia Marcescens
Host: E.Coli
Storage buffer and condition:10 mM Tris-HCl, 20 mM NaCl, 2 mM MgCl2, 50% Glycerol (pH 8.0). Store at -20℃ and stable for at least 12 months.
Unit definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that causes a ∆A260 of 1.0 in 30min.
Purity: ≥ 95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE

Application

  • Removal of nucleic acids from recombinant proteins
  • Viscosity reduction during cell lysis preparation
  • Sample preparation for 2D gel electrophoresis and SDS-PAGE electrophoresis
  • Removal of nucleic acid during vaccine and viral vector preparation
  • Decrease or prevent cell aggregation during PBMC thawing and organoid processing
  • Improve the quality of ELISA, Western Blot, protein chip and mass spectrometry analysis results during blood sample processing
