Apoptotic, Necrotic, and Healthy Cells Detection Kit

Introduction

Our Apoptotic, Necrotic, and Healthy Cells Detection Kit provides a convenient assay to detect apoptotic, necrotic, and total cells within the same cell population by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. This kit contains three-color reagent:  Andy Fluor™ 488 annexin V used to stain apoptotic cells by binding to phosphatidylserine (PS) exposed on the cell surface; propidium iodide (PI) used to stain necrotic cells with comprised membrane integrity; and Hoechst 33324 used to stain all cell nuclei. After staining a cell population, apoptotic cells show green fluorescence, dead cells show red and green fluorescence, and all cells show blue fluorescence.
