Lentifect™ Crude and Purified Lentivirus
Lentiviral vectors provide potent vehicles for delivery of genes into a wide range of cell types including difficult-to-transfect cells. Lentiviral particles transduce cells and integrate into the host genome in dividing and post-mitotic cells resulting in long-term expression of the transgene both in vivo and in vitro. Producing, concentrating and titrating lentiviral particles, however, is time consuming and requires some experience to achieve high titers and consistent results. So, GeneCopoeia provides efficient scientific expertise for reliable production of viral particles.
Lentifect™ crude and purified lentivirus are available as both pre-made and custom-made. High titer lentivirus are produced from standardized protocols using high-purity plasmid DNA preparations and EndoFectin™ Lenti transfection and TiterBoost™ reagents. The high quality reagents and GeneCopoeia scientific expertise ensure production of the highest-titers possible of crude viral supernatant and purified particles.

Custom-made lentivirus
Custom lentivirus production services are offered for any construct including ORF cDNA, shRNA, miRNA precursors and miRNA inhibitors. A wide range of expression vectors with and without fusion tags are available for ORF cDNA, shRNA and miRNA. GeneCopoeia' s scientific expertise can deliver high titer lentivirus in either crude or purified form with titers ranging from 10^7 copies/ ml to 10^10 copies/ ml depending upon the request.
Delivery estimate typically ranges from two to few weeks depending upon the nature of the custom request. Lentivirus can be delivered in different sizes including 200 µl and 1 ml.
