The Lenti-Pac™ Lentivirus Concentration Solution is designed for quick and simple concentration of lentiviral particles. The concentration is accomplished by mixing the proprietary reagent with the lentiviral supernatant, followed by a short incubation then centrifugation with an ordinary centrifuge.
Figure 1. Concentration of lentiviral particles. Lentiviral particles expressing GFP (2x107 TU/ml) were concentrated 10 times using Lenti-Pac™ lentivirus concentration solution. The concentrated lentiviral particles were used to transduce H1299 cells in a 24-well plate. The pictures were taken 48 hours after the transduction. A: 0.2 µl of crude lentivirus;
B: 0.02 µl of concentrated lentivirus (incubated 4 hours with the concentration solution before centrifugation). C: 0.02 µl of concentrated lentivirus (incubated 16 hours with the concentration solution before centrifugation).
